EMERGENCY LOGISTICS (HUMANITARIAN LOGISTICS)

The logistics provider can have a significant impact on the speed and efficiency of relief delivery, saving lives and minimizing suffering.
1. Key requirements of Emergency Logistics:

2. Emergency Logistics includes:
- Set up a switchboard and emergency communication system to receive full information from victims in disaster areas, even in conditions of power, public telecommunications outages, widespread communication outages.
- Update real-time information on incidents happening so that local government leaders can make timely decisions.
- Quickly establish a map of key locations in damaged areas that require quick response for rescue and relief. - Quickly establish a map of areas, locations for gathering personnel, supply resources, rescue equipment, and shelters for each type of disaster.
- Prepare plans and solutions to deploy necessary resources in advance for rescue work in areas at risk of disaster as requested by local government leaders for direction.
- Immediately mobilize and allocate appropriate resources for rescue work as requested by central command agencies BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the disaster.
- Update and report real-time developments of disaster incidents.
- Issue and notify necessary warnings to people in areas at risk of disaster continuously BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the disaster.
- Quickly set up emergency air bridge, waterway, road and rail bridges to gather and immediately supply goods, rescue equipment and vehicles according to the direction of approved government agencies for disaster response situations.
- Make a list of vehicles, equipment, human resources available among the people and volunteer forces to be ready to mobilize immediately to participate in rescue work BEFORE, DURING and AFTER the disaster. Allocate volunteer forces appropriately according to the direction of government organizations.
- Set up temporary warehouses and temporary gathering points for rescue.
- Receive, handle, classify, store, and preserve relief goods, humanitarian aid, and charitable donations to disaster areas. Manage and coordinate goods from the central warehouse to temporary warehouses and distribute directly to each person in need of support.
